FSMO Placement for 2012

scenario - ad  win 2012. single domian, single forest twelve sites , 2 dcs @ each site.

site main location , want know effective way of placing fsmo in 2 dcs @ site a. 1 dc @ site gc.

present plan below.

dc1(gc) - domain naming master, schema master , pdc

dc2 - im & rid pool manager.

there issue in plans?


it depends on else have running.  many applications, exchange, require global catalog @ each site.  even if have single domain.  since single domain, there no harm in making of dcs global catalogs.  it won't increase replication, make of dcs more effective because of applications query _gc. records.

also, have enabled active directory recycle bin?  once enabled, renders im useless.

so, issue see.... make dcs gcs.  separating them 2000's concept , no longer relevant.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
