Server 2000 Licensing / Terminal Services Problem

i've got system running server 2000 has had licensing , terminal services installed , working years , i'm having odd issues i've been unable resolve. have 8 client xp machines , 7 of can connect remote desktop without problem, eighth machine , matter other machine such test xp notebook attempts connect received error message remote desktop client: "the remote computer disconnected session because of error in licensing protocol" , in event log see event id 38; type error source termservlicensing description "can't generate license client because of error can;t add certificate store error c0010020" when error find kb887444 http://support.microsoft.com/kb/887444 mentions windows 2000 @ top , points hot fix under resolution. when go hotfix page http://support.microsoft.com/kb/983385 there no mention of server 2000 , downloadable hotfixes server 2003 , 2008?

my boss per thread or knowlagebase article can't locate @ moment deleted , recreated license store on server , still have same issue.

another odd thing noticed while working on if go terminal services licensing control panel applet , select server option activate server enabled , under advanced options reactivate or deactivate server grayed out. if attempt activate server message: licensing wizard encountered internal error license server message number: 0xc0110011
