Deduplication: Which files are not "in policy" and why?

hello:

i have volume full of backup files symantec ghost. there 1000 files, get-dedupstatus lists 622 files "inpolicy".

is there way find out files not inpolicy , why?

i have verified following:

1) none of files have alternate data streams

2) ntfs compression not used

3) ntfs encryption not used

4) files larger 32k

5) gho extensions not listed excluded file type in ui or get-dedupvolume

are there other reasons exclude deduplication?

thank in advance insight can provide.

regards,

joe m.

alex:

thank response. had ruled out of those.

it turns out had wait. apparently, if there large backlog of files deduplicated stops adding files list. once optimize job caught up, remaining files marked in-policy.

joe m.
