windows 2008R2 64 RDP connection Thru Smart station thin client getiing hang

dear all

i trying connect smart station thin client windows 2008r2 server rdp clinet.

application using cctc client software

applocation hangs after time. issue rdp client connected tv

but on monitor working

any 1 have solution

hi gogi,

firstly know, version of rdp client , os using in environment.

hang issue cause several different reason.
-  due remote desktop client version
-  sometime can happen due network latency.
-  sometime missing windows update.
-  might due old firmware or driver issue.

here can suggest try rdp client 8.0 or rdp client 8.1 (right under gradation) better performance. check windows patch, firmware , driver updates.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
