Error on a bunch of Windows 2003 servers. Not showing apparent issue but needs to be explained.

recently large portion of our windows 2003 servers throwing error on screen , following corresponding event in logs:

faulting application wmiprvse.exe, version 5.2.3790.4455, faulting module msvcr90.dll, version 9.0.30729.6161, fault address 0x00056b1d.

all of them doing around same time.   thought because of sccm, nothing on server or via sccm console scheduled happen around given time occurs (9:21pm)

i know it's wmi crash.. not sure how tell causing crash, because msvcr90.dll part of microsoft visual c runtime , lot of things use that.  

we noticed started happening on our 2003 servers after sp1 client installed.  i have exact same error you.  it happens during hardware inventory process when queries used applications.  i can run query in wbem test , cause fault.

i have opened issue cm12 team on this.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
