WDS/Imagex
hi,
we cannot use imagex create boot image based on windows xp installation disk. should use boot.wim file in windows vista or windows server 2008 disk. create , deploy install windows xp image, please refer following steps:
1. install , configure wds server.
2. add default windows 2008 boot image wds.
3. create capture boot image , add boot image.
4. create reference computer (install operating system, applications, , make other changes).
5. sysprep.
6. pxe boot reference computer capture image on boot screen , capture image (if non-pxe supported, use discover image boot).
7. upload image wds server.
8. clients can pxe boot , install windows (if non-pxe supported, use discover image boot).
