Offline files / folder redirection reporting

hi all.

i've been asked provide periodic reporting on success rate of offline file synchronization on our client pcs.

the "documents" folder redirected through gpo %homeshare%%homepath% hosted on file server.

any ideas on best way gauge how many users have synced files location within past few days?

i've tried looking @ "date accessed" , "date modified" of user folders these don't seem accurate representation of users online , syncing.

thanks
