Local Administrators are applied but still elevation required

hello,

i got strange issue regarding local administrators deployed via gpp. deploy global security group "all_local-administrators" has second global security group "(locationprefix)_local-administrators" member containing ad accounts want have local admin permission. after taking on 1 of our clients "all_local-administrators" member of "administrators" group policy working fine , should.

strangely members of group "(locationprefix)_local-administrators" not privileged run admin. says elevation required. if delete user profile user , try again same error. if login computer via rdp full desktop etc. recognized group , user local admin on. there solution prevent this? it´s not acceptable login local admin first  to full deskop being able helpdesk stuff. 1 connects via remote assistance , says run administrator , enter his/her credentials.

thanks //marvin

hi,

what client os? user account control (uac) may cause problems.

uac behavior set here computer settings\windows settings\security settings\local policies\security options in gpo.

user account control: run administrators in admin approval mode enabled default.
