Windows 7 not updating from SBS2008 after KB2734608

all,

i have issues win7 clients not updating sbs2008 wsus.
i'm aware of multiple discussion have been going on regard to kb2720211 & kb2734608.

what has been done far:

  • since kb2720211 caused issues waited deploy
  • deployed kb2734608 following article
  • in article states: " update 2720211 included in update , strengthens wsus communication channels." assumed fix issue.
  • however, after installing kb2734608 still have issues on "some" win7 desktops. winxp ok, server 2008 & 2008r2 ok.
  • tried command lines as described in kb2734608, forced wsus connections, forced wsus registration, nothing helps.

so now? should install kb2720211after all? if kb2734608 has been installed on server?

appreciated.

kb2734608 replaces kb2720211 wouldn't worry trying go back. if can provide windowsupdate.log problematic target machine may provide additional clues root cause.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
