RemoteFX 3D for virtual Windows 8.1

if there way use remotefx 3d video adapter on hyper-v virtual windows 8.1? work windows 10 enterprise virtual machines windows 8.1 shows unknown device , cannot find/install drivers it.

if intentional limitation, until official windows server 2016 release or forever?

yes, windows server vnext not downgrade support remotefx on windows 8.1 client vm currently, since windows 8.1 unable install newer version of remotefx graphic card driver.

i believe microsoft release driver update windows 8.1 when server vnext release in end of year.

i not sure if can "backup" remotefx driver windows 10 client , try install on windows 8.1, since not designed way use remotefx, not sure if can works currently.

as current windows server vnext preview expire on october, version can release in october, or preview 3.

since windows server vnext preview 2 not recommended running on production server, suggest working real task on server 2012r2. while if working in own testing lab only, suggest can use vmware esxi base virtualization hypervisor, nest virtualization windows 2012 r2 , windows vnext on top of it, , try remotefx on same server different os.

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
