Do We need to Run the ADPREP32.exe /DomainPrep /gpprep on Child Domain Controller ?

hello ds experts!

i have got 1 forest 1 child domain (forest:xyz.com , child abc.xyz.com) has 2003r2.

i have ran adprep32.exe /forestprep , adprep32.exe /domainprep /gpprep on xyz.com.

so question - still needs run adprep32.exe /domainprep /gpprep on abc.xyz.com ?

while running permission needed run (adprep32.exe /domainprep /gpprep) on abc.xyz.com, because have 1 account in root domain using have ran forestprep , domainprep in root doamin, when ran in child domain - says need part of domain admin of abc.xyz.com,
when try account (which part of schemaadmin,domainadmin, enterpriseadmin root domain) making member of child domain domain admin, wont allow me.

how set dns?

configuring dns in child domain

you dont require above solution if dns replication scope forestwide.

you can use nslookup dns troubleshooting. see below example.
cmd---nslookup
set q=srv
_ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.trusteddomain.com
_ldap._tcp.gc._msdcs.trusteddomain.com
_ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.trusteddomain.com
_ldap._tcp.dc._msdcs.trustingdomain.com
_ldap._tcp.gc._msdcs.trustingdomain.com
_ldap._tcp.pdc._msdcs.trustingdomain.com

if above test passed can dns seems ok.

to deploy child domain:
dcdiag /test:dcpromo /dnsdomain:child_domain_name.forest.com /childdomain

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
