Cannot access ftp server by using IPv6.
i'm facing problem using ipv6.
i'm trying connect vista(ipv6) win2008(ipv6) using ipv6 network.
[ping servername] and calling [\\servername] in explorer worked ,
but [ftp.exe servername] not work.
like this.
> ftp servername
> ftp:connect: connection timeout.
on above situation , http not connected each other machine.
vista network diagnose says "check if ipv4 checked."
so, put check on ipv4 on network configuring dialog on vista machine and became http connection correct.
but still ftp cannot connect.
putting checks on ipv4 on both machine(vista,2008), http , ftp works okay.
cannot use ipv6 connection alone (without ipv4)?
if have idea, please advise me!!

there two versions of the ftp publishing service iis 7 on windows server 2008:
- the built-in ftp publishing service within iis 7 (installable through server manager)
- the separately downloadable , installable ftp publishing service iis 7 (newer package)
the latter ftp service incorporates many new features, ipv6.
to use ftp ipv6 on windows server 2008, install separately downloadable ftp publishing service.
download locations:

microsoft ftp publishing service iis 7.0 (x64)
