Windows Server 2012 Essentials says bad product key before I can enter it

i downloaded file action pack download , keys site:

sw_dvd9_ntrl_win_svr_essentials_2012_64bit_english_fpp_vl_oem_core_x18-27455

i created dvd , ran setup.

i go online install updates recommended.

i seem updates.

i see "setup restarting"

next get:

windows setup – product key entered not match of windows images available installation.  enter different product key

help

if hardware has 'bios' level product id, issue.

this common on new windows 8 ready hardware.

you need add pid.txt file media (extracting iso bootable usb ideal)

inside pid.txt file should essentials key.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
