Problems isolating Cluster traffic from LAN traffic!
hello people of technet!
i'm having problem hyper-v failover cluster , hoping me out...
please bear me, have had figure hyper-v out myself mostly, happily provide missing information.
start off, have set following failover cluster:
operating system: hyper-v server 2012r2 core edition, note: not server 2012r2, hyper-v server 2012r2.
number of nodes in cluster: 2
number of physical nics in use on each host: 8
storage: dell equallogic san
storage access: iscsi
port configuration: 2x iscsi in nic team
4x virtual switch, each different ip range, not shared host os
1x management nic, connecting straight main lan
1x heartbeat nic
between hosts , san 2 switches wish separate lan isolate traffic on cluster , traffic cluster san main lan security reasons , comply microsoft best practices.
aim make hyper-v nodes accessible via management nics main lan.
following nics have connections lan:
1x management nic on each server
1x virtual switch providing lan access guest vms on each server, switch not shared management os.
other nics connected switches, , switches connected lan single connection each.
problem: when lan network cable pulled switches in attempt isolate traffic, hyper-v guest interface vms becomes unbearably slow, if it's having severe network routing issues (a guess). also, traffic 1 particular dmz subnet (possibly all, one's problematic) not route machine on same subnet, , communication lost these particular guest vms.
would have ideas how might able fix this?
i apologise if question seems oddly phrased , vague, i'm new hyper-v , mentioned earlier, happy provide additional information.
many thanks,

i have read post multiple times, , cannot envision how have things connected. i, one, need have clearer idea of physical configuration , addressing schema before might able hazard guess. example, state "when lan cable (cable singular) pulled switches (switches plural, how can 1 cable pulled 2 switches)?". technically, connections lan connections, saying "lan cable" not specific.
there other things in configuration don't appear configured high availability, also. example, host management nic single nic. want team in order connect 1 nic of team 1 switch , other nic of team other switch ensure high availability in case of loss of single nic, cable, or switch. have configured now, loss of single nic, cable, or switch causes loss of access.
