Server 2008 not a valid win32 application

i'm running 64bit windows server 2008. want install data protection manager, when open x64.exe error '... not valid win32 application.'. when try run x86.exe, unzipper, wich works. when try run setup , choose 'install', error 'data protection manager not supported on os. install ... on server 2003 sp2 or higher'.

i've read http://forums.microsoft.com/technet/showpost.aspx?postid=3101408&siteid=17&sb=0&d=1&at=7&ft=11&tf=0&pageid=1, , looks same problem. rebooted server, didn't help. do? need x64.exe right?

this forum dedicated win 2008 support. please refer to  support of dpm 2007, better submit new post in our dpm newsgroup.
