on domain controller running windows server 2008, following event may logged in application log:

date: time logging
event id: 8194 task category: (2)
level: error

description:
the client-side extension not remove user policy settings ‘domain name {guid}' because failed error code '0x8007000d data invalid.' see trace file more details.

 

cause

 

this issue occurs because locally cached files corrupted.

 

resolution

 

to resolve issue, can delete corrupted file. detailed steps, please refer following microsoft knowledge base article:
