Windows Folder in User Profile Path

i have windows server 2008 r2 forest exclusively used handful of application services. virtualized environments, , run remote desktop services.

on each server, can run various tools such hijackthis or autoruns or when installing new apps, there references c:\users\administrator\windows\system32 files. obviously, these don't exist here... exist in c:\windows\system32.

so questions are... why have references user path, , how fix doesn't happen? i've been administering windows server since nt 3.51 days , have never seen happen before, , neither bing nor google turned information on matter.

hi,

please first check environment variables in system properties.

if it’s ok, please provide more information:

1.    when did issue start happen? after installing programs?

2.    where see wrong path?

3.    does problem occur on 1 computer?

regards,

bruce
