RDPCLIP.exe high mem

hello,

we have windows 2008r2 rds farm. sometimes, 2-3 times day, there on server active user rdpclip.exe process using more 4 gb of memory. different user on different server. after killing process session still running , there no error.

users working remoteapps

on client there no content in clipboard (we have tried paste in word). clients windows xp sp3 , rdp 7.

is there way check clipboard content? maybe knows problem?

according description, understand experiencing issue rdpclip.exe process using more 4 gb of memory.

 

this issue might occur when there loop in local or remote clipboard viewer chain.

 

to resolve issue, please have try following actions , let me know results:

 

·         kill , restart rdpclip.exe process on remote desktop server.

·         close ts client , reconnect session.

·         update latest nic driver remote desktop server.

 

for reference, have included rds team blog shared clipboard.
