VHDX Fails To Mount after copying

i have windows 2012 hyper-v cluster 2 nodes. vms , vhds reside in csv on equalogic san. recently, had data vhd become corrupted on file server, moved data corrupted vhd a new vhd. after complete , server online, copied old corrupted vhd onto external usb hard drive. trying access old vhd mounting directly on 2012 node , error:

couldnt mount file

the disk image isnt initialized, contains partitions arent recognizable, or contains volumes havent been assigned driver letters. please use disk management snap-9in make sure disk, partitions, , volumes in usable state.

when go disk management, go ahead , set online , shows drive no partition on it. have lost data? can vhd mount again can recover data it?

okay, going , closing out since found issue...

it turned out there nothing wrong these vhds copied. not in state allows them mounted volume. instead, needed attach them virtual machine, , worked fine. created virtual machine on 1 of hyperv servers, attached vhd file in properties of vm, , bingo, booted fine , access data on virtual disks. article helped me was....

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
