Impact of removing folder redirection?
i have small network (<100 users) , we're running windows server 2003 dcs , windows xp sp3 clients. there gpo in place performs folder redirection following folders:
- appdata
- desktop
- documents
if remove folder redirection both appdata , desktop, behaviour should expect? users automatically switch local copy of data, in profile on pc? or have plan migrate them off folder redirection on user-by-user basis?
second question: if want move data in target area referenced documents setting, user documents data lives in new location, how best approach this? on user-by-user basis, rather via gpo?
