Cannot create new VM from central storage (SAN)


i trying create vm host , have files reside on centralized storage (eg: san). getting permissions errors documented on post (http://social.technet.microsoft.com/forums/en-us/winserverhyperv/thread/aa43fb4f-8272-4c2b-bb39-ee4760c8b658) not able fix issue. may having issues wrapping brain around permssions need implemented. having issues redirecting in hyper-v settings location vms. when set location following error:

error applying virtual machine changes

failed modify service settings.

an unexpected error occured: provider not capable of attempted operation (0x80041024)

failed modify service settings

the hyper-v virtual machine management service encountered unexpected error:  provider not capable of attempted operation (0x80041024)

any additional direction great. have several projects on hold until gets worked out.

according description, seems want keep hyper-v vhds files on file share, if so, let know not supported microsoft.
