Added WSUS role on STD 2102 R2; post deployment failed

i added role following error:  

microsoft.updateservices.administration.commandexception: required configuration value not found in system. caused installing wsus through powershell , not specifying configuration file. review article managing wsus using powershell @ technet library (http://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/?linkid=235499) more information on recommended steps perform wsus installation using powershell.
   @ microsoft.updateservices.administration.postinstall.getconfigvalue(string filename, string item)
   @ microsoft.updateservices.administration.postinstall.loadsettingsfromxml()
   @ microsoft.updateservices.administration.postinstall.initalize(parameters parameters)
   @ microsoft.updateservices.administration.postinstall.execute(string[] arguments)

i went kb cmdlets descriptions. how set configuration file?  thx
