SSL Handshake Error with Windows Server 2008 R2 (SSRS) and Windows XP


when windows xp machine using internet explorer 8 tries connect our sql server reporting services on windows server 2008 r2, "internet explorer cannot display webpage" (see picture below).

following errors in system log on windows server 2008 r2 box:

source: schannel, event: 36874 - tls 1.0 connection request received remote client application, none of cipher suites supported client application supported server. ssl connection request has failed.

source: schannel, event: 36888 - following fatal alert generated: 40. internal error state 1205.

internet explorer 9, firefox 4, chrome 12 work fine connecting server. on windows xp machine, i've tried disabling tls 1.0 , ssl 3.0, doesn't help. tried  kb968730 no luck.

cipher suite mismatch or else?
