Wildcard Certificates for RDS Session Host Config and RemoteApp
hi,
i have bunch of ws2008r2 running rds. instead of getting ssl certificates of them, i've decided wildcard cert since latest versions can use it. here's problem after getting certificate comodo.
- i have cert private keys. recovered via 'certutil -repairstore' command.
- i have use on iis.
- i have imported [local computer]\personal certificate store.
- i have use rds gateway manager, ie didn't complain cert, believe it's working. complain end target server i'm connecting that's story.
- however, when go rds session host configuration, under rdp-tcp properties, there no certificate me choose. , if connect via rdp server, certificate warning because using self-signed cert.
- the same thing happens when try pick certificate use under remoteapp manager->digital signatures settings. result, can't sign installer packages created.
is there missed preventing me seeing certificate appearing under session host configuration , remoteapp manager's digital signatures setting?
hi,
1. on server having problem setting cert rdp-tcp listener, if you double-click on the certificate installed in local computer\personal store using certificates mmc snapin, @ bottom you have private key corresponds certificate?
2. why did need use certutil -repairstore command? having sort of problem? should not needed. example, make request specific server, obtain and install on server, export (along private key) .pfx file may import of other servers.
