Server 2008 R2 Host with Server 2012 Hyper-V Guest - Guest network connection disconnects on shadow copy
hi there,
currently have windows server 2012 hyper-v guest hosted on windows server 2008 r2. whenever shadow copy ran host guests network connection disconnects. happens everyday host setup backup guest daily.
here's event log details:
- the volume shadow copy service entered running state. (eventid 7036)
- the microsoft software shadow copy provider service entered running state. (eventid 7036)
- miniport nic 'microsoft hyper-v network adapter' disconnected (eventid 13)
- the system time has changed 2012-10-16t09:14:21.735000000z 2012-10-16t09:04:54.158702100z.
change reason: application or system component changed time. (eventid 1) - isatap interface isatap.{c82612ac-dcc1-42ae-8a12-587fbecc03e4} no longer active. (eventid 4201)
- miniport nic 'microsoft hyper-v network adapter' connected (eventid 12)
- the winhttp web proxy auto-discovery service service entered running state. (eventid 7036)the tcp/ip netbios helper service sent stop control.
reason specified was: 0x40030011 [operating system: network connectivity (planned)]

- the tcp/ip netbios helper service entered running state. (eventid 7036)
- isatap interface isatap.{c82612ac-dcc1-42ae-8a12-587fbecc03e4} address fe80::200:5efe:5.152.205.212 has been brought up. (eventid 4200)
- the volume shadow copy service entered stopped state. (eventid 7036)
- the volume shadow copy service seems start , stop day long @ random times.

1. check if backuo issues inside vm, example, if vss writers not working, etc.
2. network type using, example, internal, external.
3. what's backup target, network share, or san, etc. ?
