Changing IE Home Page based on OU


i have two departments in domain: ou=sales, , ou=shipping. each have there own web page , each want own web page default in ie. sales department see default http://sales.contoso.com , shipping department see default http://shipping.contoso.com.

i'm hoping use single gpo's user configuration>>policies>>windows settings>>internet explorer maintenance>>urls/important urls ability item-level target them.

i'm assuming other departments want own homepages , not want be creating several gpos. 

if want use same gpo can use gpp , item level targeting. use 'user configuration\preferences\control panel settings\internet settings', find these bit cumbersome. use 'user configuration\preferences\windows settings\registry'. create 2 registry items, both settings 'hkcu\software\microsoft\internet explorer\main' , settings value of 'start page' url desired. use targeting based on either computer or user in ou.
