Using VDI Pool Without Remote Desktop Web?


hopefully simple question... possible have users share 2 identical windows 7 vm's in pool using remote desktop?
users on network have own pc, 3 rotating in , out, want them use 1 of our 2 win 7 virtual machines.  no need web infrastructure have 2 servers - 1 hosting dc, dhcp, dns, other file , print sharing , hyper-v 2 vms.

yes. it’s definition of vdi virtual desktop pools. in order deployment vdi, need install , configuration rds roles meet environment requirement. @ least, must have rd connection broker, rd session host running redirection mode, rd virtualization host , rd web access. please note it’s recommended rd connection broker role reside on same server redirection mode rd session host server. since have 2 servers in product environment, can combine roles in 1 server or buy new hardware.
