Directory services won't start - nasty little catch 22

this winserv03 machine.
it has 2 arrays, 1 mirror w/ system , 1 raid5.

running mylex pos extremeraid 2000. (nothing trouble, support worthless)

so dumps raid5. i've fixed problem, it's marked several drives 'offline'. way change thru windows applett.

boot windows , says directory services cannot start. reason ad directory on raid5 down. restart in ds restore mode.

ok, that's fine, boot in admin in ds restore mode, figure i'll fix raid there.

can't because mylex's little applet has special user , since users won't load can't it.

can't demote system domain either.

don't know how relocate ad info system drive or tell load user info dc.

any bright ideas how either load dc or copy ad stuff dc different directory?

boot server in ds mode , then  change registry bellow. server become ms. read article bellow understand , let me if you.

restart computer, , press f8 display windows 2000 advanced options menu.
2. choose directory services restore mode, press enter, , press enter again continue restarting.
3. modify producttype entry in registry. this, follow these steps:a.  click start, click run, type regedit, , click ok.
b.  locate following registry subkey:
hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\productoptions
c.  in right-pane, double-click producttype.
d.  type servernt in value data box, , click ok.

note if value not set correctly or misspelled, may receive following error message:
system process - license violation: system has detected tampering registered product type. violation of software license. tampering product type not permitted.
e.  quit registry editor.
 
4. restart computer.

RDS 2012 r2 collections show black screen and then close

greetings,   have deployed 2 server 2012 r2 rds session collections (each 2 rdsh servers, , both going through same gateway/broker server), , during testing had no issues, rolled production, our users have been experiencing black screens when attempting log in, , remote desktop window closes (no actual login performed).   seems happen intermittently, , on both collections @ different times.  thought had solved disabling use of udp in rdp clients, wasn't permanent fix.   looking @ event log of 1 of affected servers, there seems event id 36 generated @ every logon attempt following message: an error occurred when transitioning csrconnected in response evcsrinitialized.
