windows server 2008 small network setup question

hello folks.

i've set vpn getway type logmein hamachi ... , windows server 2008 getway computer ... have no problem regarding network.
problem on server have software database , other computers on network access database trough vpn. far good. problem when start program on client side valid ip settings not load database on server. says destination host unreachable. if browse server , authenticate administrator acount of server software starts working no problem ... windows server need authentication become accesable trough network ... how can keep need of authentication on server side , filter access of unwanted people wanting "copy" database , able access same database trough software. computers (5 computers total) on same workgroup.

please if of smart people have clue pleease me boss kill me :)

  1 of problems of using workgroup. there no central accounts database give access resources.

   domain, logging on domain gives valid credentials access domain resources. workgroup, need authenticate machine hosts resource. if database on particular server, every user must have account on server.

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically. hi ruud, as works rd
