RemoteApp - Your Computer Cant connect to the remote computer.....

hi guys

i have setup rds2012 environment with:

server1: connection broker (using central management)

server2: gateway , web in dmz

servers3-8: session hosts

certificates: 1xwildcard *localdomain.co.uk installed internal servers (connection broker sso , connection broker publishing). 1xsan cert web access url remote.externaldomain.co.uk , alternate name external gateway address gw.externaldomain.co.uk.

with configuration last week internally able log web access , fire remoteapp no problem. on past few day have been tinkering firewall ports , nps/gateway to allow access remotely , since making changes cant access remoteapps externally or internally. error:

"your computer cant connect remote computer because remote desktop gateway server temporarily unavailable."

the remoteapp trusted publisher box has:

publisher:  *localdomain.co.uk (wildcard cert)

remote computer: connection broker fqdn

gateway server:  gw.externaldomain.co.uk (covered san cert)

its not firewall related have temporarily allowed traffic through wan-dmz , dmz-lan. used guide here to configure gateway central nps server have in network. have tried turning rd cap store on gateway local server running nps doesn't fix it. user member of ad group defined in rap has access network resource group contains rds servers.

if try , access via internal fqdn of web access (i assume doesn't need go via gateway then) same problem.

would have suggestions on how can trouble shoot this?

in rds gateway configuration, typing gateway public dns ? (the same typing in mstsc)

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically. hi ruud, as works rd
