Problem Deploying Xerox Printer Using GPP For Non-Admin Users

hello!  experiencing problem when deploying printers, xerox 7655 printer.  when user logs in, waits xerox printer show in printers list, waits 1 minute , logs out, error message appears @ welcome screen stating:

[body] unexpected error occured in print driver.
close current driver window , retry operation.

error message appears once.  if user clicks ok , logs in , logs out, error message not appear.  however, if user deletes printer (without deleting driver) , relogs in, same message appears once.

printer server running windows 2008 sp2 32bit , client workstation windows xp sp3 32bit.

problem not occur if user given admin rights.

here have tried:
1. tried both pcl , ps printer drivers , both produced error message.
2. other hp printers have not produce problem non-admin users.
3. enabled gpp tracing , here lines may relevant:

gpp appears hang @ 16:27:03 until begin log out @ 16:28:49 @ point error produced.

has else experienced similar issues?

hi,

based on symptom, xerox printer required admin rights install while printer drive doesn't require admin rights during user log on. please try update xerox printer driver on server , test.

if latest driver cannot solve problem, please try install printer manually on clients using non-admin users.

please try suggestions below check if error persists.
