GPP losing map drive

hi everyone,

i have xp client kb943729 installed , use gpp map drive, whats happening clients losing map drives. client have execute command gpupdate /force make logoff , logon map drive show again.

trying fix enable default options following configuration in gpo:

computer configuration/administrative templates/system/group policy/shortcuts preference extension policy processing 

computer configuration/administrative templates/system/group policy/start menu preference extension policy processing 

but not solved, problem persist.

this problem may caused fast logon feature or slow link. let’s try steps below troubleshooting:

1. disable fast logon.

open gpo lab pcs, navigate to:  [computer configuration/ policies / administrative templates / system /logon]

enable "always wait network @ computer startup , logon".

2. enforce policy setting.

 navigate [computer configuration/ policies / administrative templates / system / group policy]

based on policy settings, please choose accordingly policy processing policy , enable:
-"allow processing across slow network connection"
-"process if group policy objects have not changed"

run "gpupdate /force" on dc , reboot client.

if issue persists, try steps below enable gpp debug logging.
