FTP in Windows 2012 Failover Cluster

hi,

understand windows 2012 having improved failover clustering features,however have faced issues when configured ftp in windows 2012 failover cluster.

1) per process configured shared disk ftp data path.

2)installaed ftp feature in both nodes of clustert

3)finally created generic service in cluster roles ftp service.

after configuration found working fine when try failover ftp role found ftp resource not moving smoothly. observed microsoft ftp service gets in "starting" mode in destination node. run ftp resource microsft ftp service should in started mode.

this happens when try failover else works fine if start freshly.

have 1 tried this? clue such issue ?

hi,

on each cluster node, copy script windows\system32\inetsrv\clusftp7.vbs.

you can copy script @ http://support.microsoft.com/kb/974603

in cluster configuration, click configure service or application. wizard creates high availability workload. click generic script. select script file following path: %systemroot%\system32\inetsrv\clusftp7.vbs

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
