hi,

how did setup printer in group policy preference? if after clicking new, chose tcp/ip printer, please try delete original printer , create new shared printer. run "gpupdate /force" update gp , test on clients.

if issue persists, please enable following policies in gpo client computers.

[computer configuration\administrative templates\system\logon\ wait network @ computer startup , logon]

create reg file containing following content , import on user logon.

windows registry editor version 5.00

"nobackgroundpolicy"=dword:00000000
"nogpolistchanges"=dword:00000000
