RD Web/RD Gateway issues

hi all,
         im having issues rd gateway im hoping can offer assistance with.

my evnironemnt consists of 2 x windows 2008 r2 servers, testing both xp , windows 7 clients.

my 2 rd servers configured farm, using broker called rd.company.com. internally clients fine. server1 rd gateway, rd web, rd session host etc, where-as server2 rd host

my issues are:
1) when add server2 rd gateway farm, status comes unreachable, "detail" of "cannot determine number of connections" - have no idea whats wrong here, working!
2) when connecting externally, via rd gateway, enter auth, select application, "make sure trust publisher" window... there way of annoying prompt ?
3) when i connect, because have 2 "back end" servers, prompted because certname (rd.company.com) doesnt match c omputer name (server1.company.com, server2.company.com) - tried around using wildcard cert (*.company.com) - didnt resolve issue. i'm sure doco says cert name meant match famr name - ideas whats gone wrong ?

1) have written seems server 2 not have rd gateway server installed. why trying add rd gateway server farm ? error comes when server not have rd gateway server role installed
2)  & 3) presuming have trusted rd gateway certificate or else connection not go through. problem facing because of certificate installed on rdsh used server authentication. can make pop-up disappear trusting certificate - adding "trusted root certification authorities store". correctly pointed out, problem occurs because certificate name (rd.company.com) not match names of server farm memebers (server1.company.com, server2.company.com).  around problem can try issuing certs cn farm name (rd.company.com) , installing on both server 1 , server 2 .

Failed to query the results of bpa xpath

0x300000d errors in Microsoft Remote Desktop client

we use rd connect home users office. @ server side remote desktop gateway configured on 2008r2 server. experience following:   for years worked fine, starting last year users apple macbook experienced connection errors after new version of microsoft remote desktop in app store , automatic update. after couple of weeks error disappaered when new updates released. since 6 8 weeks problem again. because don’t have macbook cannot reproduce problem.   starting couple of weeks samsung s6 experiencing problems, here version 8.1.37.135 installed, error displayed is: can’t connect tot remote pc because remote desktop gateway server temporaraily unavailable. try connecting later or contact network administrator assistance. error code  0x300000d   because has worked fine years expect issues on client can configuration error on gateway server.   who pin point real cause?   however, testing other rd gateway server works ok settings identically....
